Enterprise Architect
Location: ACT (Hybrid)
Contract: To 30 June 2027 + 3 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide strategic technical direction and architectural assurance across enterprise platforms, cloud environments, and integration frameworks within a large Federal Government environment.
This role works across business and technology teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with organisational strategy and operating models. You will contribute to change initiatives, BAU improvements, and emerging programs of work, while shaping the long-term technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand strategic drivers and technology needs
* Build strong relationships with architects, delivery teams, and business owners
* Develop and maintain architectural artefacts including principles, current-state landscapes, and future-state roadmaps
* Contribute to digital strategy with a strong focus on technology enablement
* Develop models across application, data, integration, infrastructure, and cloud domains
* Provide architectural assurance across change programs and enterprise initiatives
* Guide multidisciplinary delivery teams and support architectural governance forums
* Assess technology options and provide strategic recommendations
Required Skills & Experience
* Extensive enterprise architecture experience within Federal Government environments
* Strong understanding of the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
* Experience guiding architectural advisory or governance groups
* Knowledge of TOGAF and agile frameworks such as SAFe
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems
* Strong knowledge of industry best practice and contemporary digital platform offerings
