Job Description
An opportunity has become available for an SMSF Senior / Supervisor to join the growing superannuation team. This role will involve managing SMSF compliance and supporting clients with superannuation matters while working closely with managers and partners.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Preparing and reviewing SMSF financial statements and tax returns
* Managing a portfolio of SMSF clients
* Liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with superannuation legislation
* Preparing member statements and pension documentation
* Assisting clients with superannuation queries and technical matters
* Supporting junior staff and reviewing work where required
Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* 4+ years' experience in SMSF accounting within public practice
* Strong understanding of SMSF compliance and superannuation legislation
* Experience using SMSF software such as BGL or similar platforms
* Bonus but not necessary: CA, CPA or SMSF Association qualification (or working toward completion)
* Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships
