This role can also be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, or Perth.As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the technical lifecycle of systems developed within the IT environment. Systems may relate to new capability development, software applications, or infrastructure services that are managed to provide a cost-effective solution to the business or customer.Key responsibilities include:Exposure to error management and debugging techniques using SQL/Developer integration, and consumption of web services using APEX declarative framework.Create database applications for both desktop and mobile interfaces, adding components like new pages, reports, regions, items, and other elements to enhance applications.Experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and developing database objects such as Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions, Sequences, Views, etc.Working as 'One Team' with IM&T and the wider Hunter Class Frigate programme team across multiple time zones, adopting flexible 'Smart Working' hours.Managing work under pressure to meet hard deadlines, maintaining quality and handling evolving environments with uncertainty and risk.About YOUExperience in a customer-facing role such as helpdesk or consulting is desirable.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Proven expertise in Oracle Application Express.Defense security clearance or eligibility to obtain Baseline Clearance.We believe in hiring for potential; if you don't meet all criteria but are interested, we encourage you to apply.About USYou will join a workplace that cares about your wellbeing.
