The Role, At a Glance

The Customer Service Specialist I supports Biamp's customers in the Australia and New Zealand region by providing exceptional service through order management, communication, and coordination with internal and external partners. In addition to core customer service responsibilities, this role works closely with Biamp's 3PL provider and the Logistics & Distribution Manager to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment and delivery performance.

How You'll Contribute
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing accurate and thorough resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction
* Handle day‐to‐day correspondence via email and phone, maintaining a professional and customer‐focused approach
* Utilize the company ERP system to process and manage customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
* Review purchase orders against quotes to verify pricing and resolve discrepancies as needed
* Provide customers with timely updates regarding lead times, order status, and back‐ordered materials
* Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to prioritize orders and communicate delivery expectations
* Partner with Biamp's 3PL provider to coordinate daily order shipments, resolve delivery issues, and confirm proof of delivery
* Track and monitor shipments to ensure on‐time delivery and proactively communicate delays or logistics issues
* Support freight claim resolution, order corrections, and changes by liaising with logistics and warehouse teams
* Maintain order and shipping data accuracy within ERP and related systems to ensure visibility and accountability across departments
* Assist in identifying opportunities to improve order fulfillment accuracy, logistics coordination, and overall customer experience
* Upon completion of training, be able to process a minimum of 100 orders per week with greater than 90% accuracy
You'll Also Support By
* Working with the sales team to verify discounts and obtain approvals for drop‐ship or expedited orders
* Collaborating with the Logistics & Distribution Manager to monitor 3PL performance and communicate any service or delivery issues
* Assisting in verifying international shipping documentation and compliance requirements for ANZ orders
* Building rapport with new and repeat customers by providing exceptional service and consistent follow‐up
* Reviewing and executing change orders or correction requests as needed
* Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager
A Successful Candidate Should Have
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to collaborate with a diverse cross‐functional team spread throughout the world
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
* Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines
* Embrace continuous improvement philosophy
* High School Diploma/GED & 6+ months relevant experience
Work Environment
* Professional in an office environment
* No travel is expected for this position
