Your Role:
Reporting to the Senior Quality Technologist, you will be working on-site at our Tyabb manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in monitoring and verifying compliance with SQF and other Quality certification standards, ensuring all quality and food safety programs are effectively implemented and maintained across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform in-process and finished product testing, including organoleptic and chemical analysis.
· Approve or reject products based on test results and escalate non-conformances immediately.
· Verify equipment calibration and raise corrective actions for out-of-tolerance equipment.
· Maintain Quality lab equipment including ordering and maintaining lab chemicals as necessary.
· Conduct daily GMP site walks to ensure compliance with site policies and report non-compliance.
· Maintain retention samples and assist in collecting samples from the warehouse.
· Manage Receival and Production records in the QA office and archive old records as required.
· Collect raw material samples upon receival in accordance with SOPs.
· Perform environmental monitoring, microbiological, and allergen swab testing as per QMS schedule.
· Provide a monthly report on the test results and trending.
· Assist Senior QA Technologist in NCR and CCR investigations.
· Collaborate with the Senior QA Technologist and assist in quality assurance activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Degree in Food Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards is highly desirable.
