Case Manager (Intensive Therapeutic Care) – Permanent Full Time – Orange

About the role
As an Intensive Therapeutic Case Manager, your primary responsibility is to provide holistic support to young people experiencing emotional, behavioural, and psychological difficulties. You will work closely with them to guide towards improved mental well‐being, self‐esteem, and life skills.
Hours of work: 8:30am – 5pm. You will participate in an on‐call roster, two days a fortnight from 5pm to 9am the following morning, with an on‐call allowance. You are also expected to conduct weekly home visits across the Western region (Orange, Dubbo, and Bathurst) using a tool of trade provided by the organisation.
Role Requirements
* Relevant bachelor's degree, or a relevant diploma and be working towards a degree. (A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience and a willingness to undertake further training)
* Previous case management experience within an Intensive Therapeutic Care or Out of Home Care (OOHC) setting
* Experience supporting Children & Young People with disability, who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect.
* Understanding of current casework practices for children and young people
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
