Field Automation Specialist, WA
What you will do
To provide the highest quality technical support for Tecan customers by servicing, supporting and installing Tecan bench top solutions and liquid handling products. This person works closely with Management, Sales, Service, and Administration personnel to maintain and support installed instruments. In this position, you will directly report to the Service & Consumables Manager.
You will provide the highest level of customer support with the assistance of a local and global network of Product experts.
Responsibilities will include:
* Responding to problems or complaints that arise, either by personal action or by securing the assistance and support from others in the organisation
* Developing and maintaining a high level of technical and application skills and product knowledge to provide the highest standard of pre- and post-sales support to customers
* Following all local safety procedures, regulatory requirements, State and Federal OH&S Regulations, and report any safety, quality or regulatory relevant concerns
* Administrative tasks: support of organisation e.g. answering of customer phone calls, emails, etc. Completion of all service reports and customer information effectively and consistently as deemed necessary by the company
What you bring along:
* Associate Diploma or higher in electronics or engineering discipline or similar
* Minimum 2 years' experience providing field service in the medical technologies area (research, clinical diagnostic or analytical chemistry environment)
* A customer centric approach with strong problem solving skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills in relation to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
* Ability to work accurately and autonomously
* Fluent English; oral and written skills are essential
* Previous experience with SAP is advantageous
* Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
