 
        
        Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a Part time Accounts and Finance Clerk to join our team.As an Accounts and Finance Clerk, you will support the Finance Team by handling cashiering and assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. 
This role is shared between Crowne Plaza Canberra and the National Convention Centre Canberra, supporting both businesses.Daily responsibilities include:Performing cashiering duties accurately and promptlyMonitoring and pursuing collection of overdue accounts and discussing concernsMaintaining accounting practices in line with company policiesCoordinating with guests and departments regarding credit issuance and account follow-upKeeping records for audits and ensuring compliance with regulations and agreementsCommunicating client requirements to relevant departmentsPromoting teamwork and service quality through daily communicationEnsuring positive guest experiences while adhering to brand standardsFollowing WHS policies and proceduresOur ideal candidate has:Strong numerical and reconciliation skillsAttention to detail and prompt issue resolutionExcellent communication skillsKnowledge of front office and accounting processesProficiency in Excel and emailA degree in accounting, finance, or related field is desirableWork rights for Australia; applicants outside Australia should specify visa statusBenefits include:Hotel perks such as accommodation and F&B; discountsEnhanced parental leaveHealth days and flexible work optionsDevelopment programs and career milestonesAccess to retail discountsWe value diversity and are committed to inclusive employment practices.
