Job Title: Aquatics Centre Operations Supervisor
About the Role
This permanent full-time position involves leading a dynamic team to deliver safe, high-quality experiences for visitors across seven days on a rotating roster.
The role requires supervising and supporting staff in line with policies, legislation, and industry standards, as well as managing pool equipment, chemicals, and water quality to meet health guidelines.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support pool staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain clean, safe environments.
* Ensure lifeguards follow supervision plans, enforce safety rules, and adhere to operational procedures.
* Train and develop staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and providing first aid when required.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with staff, users, hirers, and contractors.
