Public Safety Volunteer Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to public safety as a volunteer with the Bermuda Reserve Police. You will be part of a community-driven team that offers training and experience in frontline law enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
* You will work alongside active frontline personnel from the Bermuda Police Service, participating in non-operational duties such as public engagement and community outreach.
* You will undergo full-time on-the-job training, exams, and practical exercises during the Reserve Foundation Course.
* You will work flexible hours, including two nights per week and two full weekends.
Evaluation Requirements
* Police Service Initial Recruitment Test (PIRT)
* Job-Related Fitness Test (JRFT) - Level 5.4 (15m beep test)
* Security Checks
* Suitability Testing
* Psychological Evaluations
* Medical Examinations
* Interview Board
Reserve Foundation Course Details
The course lasts approximately sixteen weeks and includes:
* Two training nights per week and two full weekend sessions
* On-the-job training, exams, and practical exercises
* The academic component runs concurrently with active duties
