We're seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to take on a leadership role within our growing consultancy. About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the civil engineering division, providing technical guidance, managing resources, and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
This role demands a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients, councils, and stakeholders to foster long-term relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the civil engineering team across multiple projects
* Oversee design and documentation using tools such as 12D, MUSIC, Drains, and HEC-RAS
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and council requirements
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery
* Contribute to business development efforts and help grow the client base
* Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on urban infrastructure and drainage
* Strong proficiency in 12D, MUSIC, Drains, and HEC-RAS software
* Proven leadership experience and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Existing relationships with local councils and industry contacts
* Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to business development
