Our Home Corowa Court offers contemporary residential aged care in Mornington, providing quality care in a warm, welcoming environment on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with excellent local amenities and coastal lifestyle.
The Role As a Lifestyle Lead / Coordinator, you’ll support residents at our Corowa Court home in Mornington to live their best life and achieve your personal goals. You’ll ensure residents are at the centre of your decision making.
Develop an inclusive lifestyle program, taking into account differing cognitive, social, spiritual, and cultural needs of the residents, tailoring the programs to meet individual needs
Program, budget and external stakeholder management (community groups, external companies, etc)
Provide guidance and direction to supporting volunteers, care staff, and a Lifestyle Assistant
Maintain records of programs, and ensure regular evaluation, to continuously improve the program
Promote positive attitudes towards ageing
About You To be successful in this role you will need:
Minimum Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure, or formal qualifications in Community Development, Recreation or Disability
Experience in a similar role
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain
Experience creating genuine connections, and empathising with clients, families and team members
