Warehouse Safety Specialist
This role involves conducting thorough safety assessments of warehouse facilities, including layout, equipment, storage systems and operational workflows. The successful candidate will have a relevant safety qualification and experience in warehouse or logistics safety management.
* Conducting regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation and industry standards.
* Collaborating with staff at all levels to promote a culture of safety and well-being within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
* Developing and implementing corrective actions to address identified hazards and risks.
* Providing training and support to staff on safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
* Relevant safety qualification (Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent).
* Proven experience in warehouse or logistics safety management.
* Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and industry standards.
