Calvary Riverina Hospital
Fixed Term-Part time After Hours Nurse Manager- 32 hours per fortnight
Maternity Leave Cover- - Start January 2026 till August 2026
About The Role
Join Calvary Riverina Hospital as an After-Hours Nurse Manager, where you'll provide operational leadership during evening and night shifts. This vital role ensures safe, high-quality patient care and supports the hospital's business objectives. You'll work closely with the Executive team, respond to incidents and emergencies promptly, and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Calvary's values.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage unplanned staff leave and ensure adequate coverage
Coordinate patient flow after hours
Liaise with VMOs and external facilities for admissions
Lead emergency responses after hours
Address and escalate patient and family concerns
About You:
Current AHPRA Registration
Post-graduate experience in clinical nursing within public or private health
Proven management experience at department or facility level
Strong understanding of quality improvement and accreditation standards
Skilled in change management and fostering positive workplace culture
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
