AMA Group is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and driven leaders in the automotive smash repair industry for the position of Area Manager – VIC Regional.
This pivotal leadership role oversees four key sites within our network and plays a central role in driving operational performance and cultural excellence across the region.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will lead and support Centre Managers and their teams to deliver strong financial results, exceptional customer service, and a safety-first culture.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy, improving operational efficiency, and building high-performing teams.
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and strategic direction of four high-performing repair sites:
* South City Panels
* AMA Collision Bellarine
* Soldani Bros
* Winter & Taylor
* Woollards
Your focus will be on leading operational success, promoting a safety-first, customer-centric culture, and mentoring site leaders to achieve strong results in efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Lead safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture
* Drive commercial performance, profitability, and growth across sites
* Coach and develop Centre Managers and their teams
* Manage budgets, reporting, and business performance reviews
* Build and maintain relationships with insurers and key stakeholders
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
* Support business development across fleet, insurance, and local markets
We’re Looking For:
* Proven leadership experience in a multi-site or service-based environment
* Strong commercial acumen with P&L management experience
* Ability to influence, coach, and build high-performing teams
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Experience in automotive repair or insurance
