2 x Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) positions at City of Melbourne centres. Roles may be based at Lady Huntingfield Early Learning & Family Services Centre and North Melbourne Children's Centre. Remuneration: $73,324 to $85,003 (dependent on skills and experience) + 12% superannuation.

We are currently seeking qualified Early Childhood Educators (Diploma) to join our team across two City of Melbourne managed children's centres.
Available Positions
* Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) – Full Time
* Location: North Melbourne Children's Centre
* Shifts: 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
* Location: Lady Huntingfield Early Learning & Family Services Centre
* Position: Part Time, 11:00am – 3:00pm
Both centres operate between 7:30am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and flexibility may be required to support service needs.
About The Role — Key Responsibilities
* Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate education programs
* Respond to the strengths and interests of each child
* Reflect the philosophy of the service and Children's Services
* Align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Include indoor and outdoor learning with a focus on education for sustainability
* Build nurturing, respectful relationships with children
* Provide supervision and personal care while maintaining safe, welcoming environments
* Lead and support other educators as part of a collaborative team
* Document learning, observations and required reports in accordance with City of Melbourne policies and regulatory requirements
* Actively contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement
* Develop positive partnerships with families and encourage engagement
* Liaise with community services and other City of Melbourne teams
* Support and supervise students on placement
* Participate in professional learning, staff meetings and professional conversations
* Maintain compliance with OHS requirements and emergency management procedures
What We're Looking For — Qualifications & Experience
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
* Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and support other educators
* Passion for creating inclusive, safe and engaging environments for children
