The RoleMake a difference in our community

This is a key role in our growth area planning team, where you will provide planning advice and assess a diverse range of complex subdivision and development applications. You'll take the lead in managing exciting growth area projects, ensuring developments align with the City of Whittlesea's vision and high standards while meeting statutory requirements and community expectations.

About you

* You have great knowledge of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and related planning legislation, regulation, standards, and case laws.
* You can effectively manage and process complex planning permit applications.
* You have proven experience in providing professional planning advice.
* You can advocating and and representing cases before VCAT and other public forums when required.
* You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders.
* You can live and uphold City of Whittlesea's values to deliver great outcomes for our community.
