Brunel Papua New Guinea are seeking a NGO Relations Advisor to work with one of the largest energy companies in the world, who have assets in Oil & Gas, LNG and Renewable energy.

**About this role**
The purpose of this job is for maintaining quality and consistency of advice and practice to ensure effective engagement occurs with our diverse range of stakeholders.

**Activities**
- Acts as TEP PNG's key interface between Client Headquarters and the Non-Governmental (NGOs)and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) at the affiliate level in the key interest areas;
- Coordinate affiliate relationships with Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in key areas such as biodiversity, indigenous people, local economy development and climate change.
- Understand, update and manage all data and information on risks related to NGOs and CSOs.
- Build and integrated understanding of NGOs and CSOs activities who are on the affiliate horizon.
- Act as a focal point for the coordination of NGO and CSO risk analysis and risk management.
- Update and report back, on a regular basis, the NGO mapping of the Affiliate.
- Plays a vital role in building our brand identity, improving external communications and engagements.
- Organize and facilitate coordination meetings with relevant entities.
- Prepare a strategy of engagement with targeted NGOs and CSO and develop messages to be provided, incoordination with the Comms team in the affiliate.
- Coordinate and facilitate the work of the Independent Biodiversity and Societal Committee by, amongst others, preparing agendas, elaborating the content of the meetings with relevant entities.
- Design and coordinate related trainings where required.

**About you** Required Qualifications / Experience**
- Master's Degree in Environment, Ecology or Social studies
- Highly developed written and oral communications skills including negotiation skills with positive reporting skills
- Ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the Organization.
- Professional knowledge and experience in NGO Management and Community Relations
- More than 5 years working experience in a similar role in the Oil & Gas Industry
