The Position This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and development of arboriculture (tree) assets within our streets, parks, reserves and landscapes across our City. Tasks and responsibilities Assist with the coordination and distribution of Customer Service Requests pertaining to all aspects of arboriculture development and maintenance. Provide assistance with the management and associated purchasing protocols including the annual street tree replacement program. Provide support with the coordination and maintenance of the tree management database. Provide advice on landscape designs and arboriculture projects. Assist with the completion of Vegetation Removal Permits (VRP). Qualifications and experience Minimum Certificate III in Arboriculture and/or extensive relevant industry experience Construction Induction Card Hours Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
