About the role
We are seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team at Marvell St Cafe' in the beautiful coastal town of Byron Bay, NSW. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a wide variety of breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
* Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Contributing to the development of new menu items and the continuous improvement of kitchen operations
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment
* Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing breakfast dishes
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a busy kitchen as some days you may be on your own. A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with front-of-house staff.
* The ability to work well in a team with excellent communication and listening skills.
* Reliability and a strong work ethic
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work early mornings and weekends
* Food safety and hygiene certification
