About the role
Boys to the Bush have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Brand and Fundraising to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
The Head of Brand and Fundraising's primary focus is to lead the strategic direction, development and execution of fundraising, partnerships and brand management for Boys to the Bush.
As a member of the Executive Management Team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position is responsible for partnerships, fundraising including grants, sponsorships and donations, our impact measurement, community engagement including advocacy and the positive delivery of our brand through marketing, communications, events and collateral.
This is a full time, permanent role, based at the Head Office in Lavington, NSW. The position does require regular travel to Capital City and Regional locations, as well as to areas in the existing Boys to the Bush footprint, planned in advance, but inclusive of some nights away from home.
This position will suit someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit and seeks to innovate yet understands the value of process and risk management to deliver consistent, repeatable and sustainable outcomes for an organisation.
As a leader in a small organisation, this position requires equal amounts of strategic thinking with operational delivery, thus needing the Head of Brand and Fundraising to balance between leading, coaching, directing and doing.
About you
· A passion for improving outcomes for disadvantaged/disengaged youth
· Demonstrated capacity to act as a positive role model for the youth in your community
· Previous experience with fundraising / philanthropic fund management within a not-for-profit environment, with a demonstrated track record of success in raising funds across diversified streams
· Previous exposure across Marketing, Brand, Events and Communication functions, ideally in a not-for-profit environment
· Prior development and execution of strategic plans, inclusive of success measures and timeframes for delivery
· Advanced technology skills that position you as a technology savvy leader who is able to support and promote sustainable progression in this area
· Strong leadership skills, with extensive experience managing a multi-disciplinary team across remote locations and able to provide direction and supervision to others, and exercise judgement effectively
· Excellent communication skills and engagement capability across diverse audiences, including confident and articulate in public speaking, able to represent BttB at public events
· Positive collaboration with stakeholders, peers and cross functional teams to drive cohesive mutually respectful relationships
· Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, with post graduate qualifications in an area of speciality
· Experience with sustainable growth and expansion of an organisation
