Chinchilla Ford are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Technician to join our team as part of an exciting new dealership opening soon.
This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your automotive career in a modern workshop environment from the ground up, contributing to a brand-new operation.
You will gain hands‐on experience across vehicle servicing and repair, working alongside experienced technicians and learning Ford manufacturer standards and workshop processes in a growing regional dealership.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting qualified technicians with servicing, diagnostics, and repair work
* Learning to safely use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
* Completing scheduled training and coursework as part of your apprenticeship
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
* Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
* Working collaboratively with technicians, advisors, and parts staff
Skills & Experience
* A genuine interest in the automotive industry
* Willingness to learn and commit to completing an apprenticeship
* Good attention to detail with a safety‐focused mindset
* Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
* A current driver's licence or working towards obtaining one
* Fully supported apprenticeship with structured on‐the‐job training
* Be part of a new dealership site from the beginning
