About the Role
As the Senior Event Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational setup and delivery of CPA Australia's events portfolio within the Event Management System (Cvent), supported by processes and integrations across Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Finance and Operations (F&O).
This role is focused on the behind-the-scenes build and configuration work that enables CPA Australia's events to run smoothly. It requires a strong understanding of event operations and the ability to translate event requirements into accurate, high-quality system builds. This includes complex multi-session conferences, event websites, registration flows, group bookings and the event app.
You will provide line management, coaching and day-to-day oversight of the Event Management System Coordinators, ensuring consistent build quality, clear workflows and the ongoing development of capability within the team. The role also involves providing guidance, training and operational support to internal stakeholders to ensure effective use of event systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include managing the full event build lifecycle, identifying and implementing improvements to systems and workflows, resolving operational and technical issues with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining productive working relationships with event owners and system vendors. You will also support requirements gathering, testing of new features and enhancements, documentation of procedures, and preparation of operational reporting to support accuracy, efficiency and a seamless member experience.
While the primary focus is on events and the Cvent ecosystem, the role also supports connected workflows and data dependencies across CRM, F&O and other related systems as required.
