Manager to partner with a growing organization dedicated to making a difference in the
healthcare sector. In this role, you’ll oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, and implement streamlined processes to drive operational efficiency. The Role
As a BookKeeper, you’ll take ownership of the financial health of the organization, manage all aspects of Australian taxation, and lead initiatives to enhance financial processes. This role offers an opportunity to make a lasting contribution to a forward-thinking business in allied healthcare.


Key Responsibilities

* Oversee all facets of business income, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
* Manage Australian tax compliance, including BAS lodgements and GST reporting.
* Utilize Xero to maintain accurate financial records, track expenses, and generate reports.
* Develop and implement financial policies, processes, and procedures for operational improvement.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support
decision-making.
* Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with business goals.
* Ensure adherence to Australian accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

* 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the allied healthcare sector.
* Proven expertise in Australian taxation, including BAS lodgement and compliance.
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
* Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and principles.
* Demonstrated ability to manage all facets of business income and financial operations.
* Experience in process improvement and implementation of financial systems.
* Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work. Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience working with SMEs in allied healthcare or similar industries.
* Familiarity with financial analysis tools and reporting software.
* Knowledge of Australian business regulations and compliance standards.
