The position will provide operational line management and direction for Emergency Department Mental Health, Mental Health Patient Flow and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry workforce across MHSS, and act as reference point internally and externally for relevant operational matters.
**Key responsibilites include**:
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Possess advanced clinical leadership abilities and facilitates the integration of services across specialties within a clinical area to coordinate the delivery of effective Mental Health and Specialised Services across the SCHHS.
- Provide high-level clinical advice within area of expertise to clinicians, professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards, service initiatives, service needs and clinical service development.
