About the role
Due to company expansion, we have an exciting opportunity based in Ballarat for a Project Manager for our Regional Western Victoria Operations. Key responsibilities in this role would include-
· Creating and maintaining sustainable and beneficial client relationships
· Understanding client expectations of works
· Tendering and quoting of works
· Forward planning of works
· Monitoring works progress
· Scheduling works programs
· Understanding and delivering works contracts
· Meeting specific contract and internal KPI's
· Identify and mitigate project risks; ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements
· HSEQ compliance, reporting and implementation.
This position also requires some experienced people management skills as we recruit for this location. You will lead a team of qualified field technicians and support their supervisors through collaboration as works are undertaken.
The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:
· Strategic thinker with the ability to problem solve and provide solutions
· Rounded project management skills including design and tender process management, stakeholder management, contract administration principals, risk management and project delivery.
· Strong IT/ technology background and ability to integrate
· Ability to support and motivate your team
· Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
· Strong understanding of contracts, programming, and cost control
· A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
· Excellent communication and leadership skills, and
