The NDIS Service Manager is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred NDIS services.
This role oversees daily operations, staff performance, participant support, and compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day service delivery across SIL, STA, ILO, and community programs.
Ensure rosters, staffing levels, and resources meet participant needs.
Maintain safe, compliant, and well-operated homes and service environments.
2. Staff Leadership
Supervise and support Support Workers and Team Leaders.
Manage onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
3. Participant Support & Engagement
Ensure participants receive person-centred, goal-focused support.
Liaise with families, Support Coordinators, and health professionals.
Monitor progress notes, incident reports, behaviour support plans, and risk assessments.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure services comply with NDIS standards, policies, and incident management rules.
Conduct regular audits of documentation and participant files.
Implement continuous improvement strategies and corrective actions.
5. Risk & Incident Management
Respond to and manage incidents, including reportable incidents.
Identify risks and put mitigation plans in place.
Ensure WHS compliance for staff, participants, and homes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in Disability, Community Services, Social Work, Mental Health, or similar (preferred).
At least 1–2 years experience in an NDIS leadership or service coordination role.
Strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, and quality requirements.
