About the Role
The Receptionist at Trinity Christian School provides service to parents, visitors, guests, contractors, prospective parents, teachers and the general public. As a customer service role, it can be busy and demanding and will complement the work style of a highly organised, solution focused, positive and calm person. The position is initially part-time, 3 days a week, for 45 weeks a year plus 4 weeks annual leave to be taken when the school is closed in December and January. There is a requirement to work part of the non-term periods and two weeks prior to the commencement of the school year. The Receptionist is responsible on a day-to-day basis to the Office Manager, who is responsible to the Business Manager who reports to the Principal.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in frontline office environments.
Experience in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and accounting systems.
Experience in using ICT to facilitate administrative tasks.
Experience working with confidential and sensitive matters and adhering to privacy principles.
Personal Attributes
A committed Christian with a personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with the School's Doctrinal Basis.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
