Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all electrical and instrumentation maintenance is carried out safely and efficiently, ensuring maximum reliability and uptime.
* Meet daily work targets for the group's activities according to applicable policies and procedures.
* Achieve results by prioritizing tasks, delegating assignments, and holding oneself accountable for the outcomes.
* Motivate oneself and others to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
* Adhere to Fieldbus installation standards for ongoing system reliability.
* Verify data displayed on the DCS system aligns with field calibration.
* Implement instrumentation to the specified resolution and accuracy.
* Capable of troubleshooting control loops.
* Perform routine maintenance on plant electrical and instrumentation equipment.
* Work on motor control systems.
* DCS wiring.
* High voltage motors and Low voltage motors and switch gear.
* Maintain high and low voltage variable speed drives.
* Battery systems for high voltage protection relays and UPS.
* Substation Maintenance.
* Overhead power line from the mine to a sea water intake and booster pump stations.

Requirements
* A certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience working in mining industry.
* Solid knowledge of low voltage switchboards, motor controls, starters, and protection systems.
* Knowledge of high voltage systems would be advantageous.
* Experience with automation systems such as SCADA, PLC, and VSD controllers would be advantageous.
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and documentation.
* A valid Class C driver's license.
* Prioritize pre-employment medical examination and drug test.
