About the Position
The City is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team assisting in all aspects of rating functions and delivering service excellence to customers via various channels.
* Maintaining property and rating databases
* Processing documents, requests, and applications
* Negotiating with customers for payment collection
* Providing assistance with levying of property rates/charges
* Liaising with other teams and external providers
Responsibilities
The successful appointee will be responsible for:
* Key database maintenance tasks
* Effective document processing and application handling
* Credit control and negotiation processes
* Rate levying and valuation support
* Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
* Experience in customer-facing roles and data entry
* Advanced communication and negotiation skills
* Proven computer literacy and organisational abilities
* Knowledge of relevant legislation
