About the role:
Reporting to our Senior Planning Administration Officer, you'll be right at the heart of one of WA's fastest growing local governments, helping to keep our City moving by supporting planning and building services that shape our community. You'll be working with a passionate team who love what they do and your work will directly impact the way our beautiful region grows and thrives.
Your key responsibilities:
* Responding to enquiries from residents at the front counter and over the phone
* Guiding customers through planning and building queries
* Supporting the processing of applications and amendments
* Keeping key registers and property information accurate and up to date
* Conducting research, solving problems, and keeping our information current
* Pitching in with team projects and continuous improvement
What you'll bring to the role:
* Confidence in communicating with people from all walks of life
* Organised, accurate, and reliable
* Great with computers and fast on the keyboard
* Experienced in administration or a similar field
* Interested in planning, development, or the community (bonus points if you can read maps!)
Pre-employment requirements:
* Current C Class Driver's Licence.
* National Police Clearance (less than six months old).
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
* Pre-employment medical (arranged and paid for by the City)
