Full-time position to manage Guest Experience
The Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa is an iconic tourist destination and award-winning spa located in the heart of Australia's Spa Capital, nestled in the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve near Daylesford, 90 minutes from Melbourne.
The Role
This is an exciting time for Hepburn Wellness as we look to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Reception Manager to build and lead a passionate and engaged Reception team.
As the Reception Manager, you will be a strong people leader responsible for the overall operations and guest experience. You will deliver exceptional customer service and foster a culture of innovation.
This senior management position includes responsibilities such as:
Directing staffing requirements, planning and assigning work, and establishing performance and development goals for team members
Meeting monthly guest visit and facility utilization targets and KPIs
Managing daily audit tasks and following up on discrepancies
Providing efficient, friendly, and professional services to ensure guests have a pleasant stay
Handling, analyzing, and resolving guest complaints promptly
Providing staff induction and training as needed
Recruiting and interviewing staff to ensure appropriate skills and potential through training
Promoting teamwork and quality service through regular communication with other departments
Liaising with guests and providing local tourism information
Qualifications / Skills
Energetic, innovative, and inclusive leadership style
Current Senior First Aid Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
Valid Working With Children Check
National Police Check clearance
Driven to succeed with a friendly, can-do attitude
Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, or Tuesday - Saturday roster
Pool Lifeguard Award (or willingness to attend training)
About You
You will have a proven track record in managing and coaching teams. Experience in driving a customer-centric approach and establishing strong stakeholder relationships is essential.
