About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.






Key Responsibilities:


* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including income tax return lodgements, superannuation and BAS/IAS.

* Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries, reconciliations and account analyses.

* Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.

* Contribute to process improvements, documentation of accounting procedures and internal controls.




Duties:

1. Predominantly performing tasks in accordance with financial regulations (laws).
2. To perform complex transactional processing as well as liaising between other departments where necessary .
