Store Manager - Brookvale

The Opportunity Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a highly motivated, sales focused and experienced Store Manager to oversee the smooth operations of the Brookvale team at our Gyprock Trade Centre.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for identifying and exploring new opportunities for CSR to grow the business by selling the benefits of our products to builders, contractors, architects, designers and DIY customers.
A day in the life of a Store Manager
You will manage the day to day activities within their store, working to be an effective and visible leader through assisting in the delivery of the objectives in trade retail standards, inventory, safety, revenue and people management
You will work closely with the Area Manager to operate as a centre of customer excellence and develop the business as a profit centre based on the accounting clerk or small to medium account sales.
**Other key responsibilities will include**:
- Monitor and coach employees, being an effective and visible leader who can develop a high performing team that is motivated and engaged;
- Ensure the store meets budget, including reviewing the areas of potential store improvement;
- Manage the end to end sales process for account customers: qualifying customer needs and budget, presenting appropriate solutions, negotiating and closing new business;
- Manage local delivery and transport requirements, partnering closely with logistics.

You are a leader with previous experience in Retail, you will demonstrate the ability to coach and develop others. You will also have:
- People Leadership Skills with proven ability in getting the best results and standards from your team
- A forklift ticket or willingness of obtaining one
- High energy and enthusiasm and exceptional communication
- Good computer skills with knowledge of SAP are highly advantageous
- Willing to perform some manual labour (lifting products etc..)
- An open to new and innovative ideas, getting the job done and having fun along the way
- Attention to high safety standards.
**Hours of WorkMonday to Friday**: 6:00am to 4:00pm; alternate Saturday Mornings: 6:00am to 11:00am, paid as overtime.
