If knitting is your happy place, then our Monday knitting group will have you in stitches.
We're inviting knitting lovers to join our weekly Monday morning volunteer group, where we gather to swap patterns, have a YARN and assist residents in frail aged care with their hobbies. Come LOOP yourself into a wonderful weekly connection.

Volunteering as a socialvisitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit aswell as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improvequality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity andwe're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. Wehave a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance thelives of people cared for by HammondCare.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care VolunteerVisitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established topromote links between elderly people and volunteers in their localcommunity.

Requirements
* 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
* Group will be held at Mason Frail Aged Residential Care Site - Monday mornings between 10-12pm
