The role
Our client is a leading automotive financial services organisation seeking an experienced Senior Product Development Manager to drive the development and growth of innovative customer-focused products across insurance, loyalty, and non-asset-based income streams. This strategic role will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, identifying new opportunities, developing business cases, and delivering solutions that enhance customer engagement, retention, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and launch insurance products including embedded insurance, GAP, extended warranty, and protection solutions.
- Design and optimise customer loyalty programs that improve retention and lifetime value.
- Lead the development of non-asset-based income (NABI) products, including subscription services, digital payments, maintenance plans, and other ancillary offerings.
- Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners including insurers, fintechs, and service providers.
- Drive product innovation from concept through to implementation and ongoing performance management.
About You
- Proven experience in product development or product management within financial services, automotive finance, insurance, or banking.
- Experience with Consumer, Commercial or Asset finance is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial products and value-added customer solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business cases and deliver successful product launches.
- Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and customer experience.
