Key Responsibilities:
Perform repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations
Inspect operating machinery and equipment for compliance with standards and recommend improvements
Provide regular updates to the Maintenance Manager and team on maintenance requests and priorities
Carry out hands‐on electrical and controls work
Ensure electrical safety of all plant and equipment
Complete electrical testing and tagging as required
Experience & Qualifications:
Experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment, timber mill experience an advantage.
Demonstrated experience with CMMS (preferably MEX)
Strong fault finding and fast response to breakdowns
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent problem solving, prioritisation and time management
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
Knowledge of PLC and control circuits is highly regarded
Must hold a current Driver's Licence
Unrestricted working rights required for this position
