About the Position
This is an opportunity to empower young people to utilise their gifts and talents, providing faith development opportunities alongside administrative support.
* Provide pastoral and spiritual support to students
* Create opportunities for faith development of students
* Organise and facilitate reflection and prayer experiences
* Contribute to the organisation of major school liturgies and celebrations and engage the school community in social justice and social action
* Administration support
To be successful in this role you will need to have good judgement, display well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, and be open-minded, sensitive and able to work with diverse groups.
Eligibility Criteria
- Commitment to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education
- Formal and/or informal experience in working with young people in a Christian context
- Hold or be willing to work towards successfully completing a Certificate IV or higher in Religious Education, Theology, Christian Ministry, or similar related field
To be eligible for this role you will:
* Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
* Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
* Have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education
