Role
Experienced Panel Beater for AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs. Full‑time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Check received parts are correct and for defects
- Disassemble vehicle as per Job Sheet
- Label and store parts
- Notate broken parts and extra repairs and submit to Estimator as requested
- Check new parts are correct and not damaged and communicate defects to Parts Manager/Production Manager
- Colour mix and match vehicle after vehicle has been prepared and is scheduled for painting
- Build and maintain colour library
- Prep, prime and paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process
- Buff and denib vehicle
- Repair vehicle as per the Repair Method, OEM standards and in accordance with Estimate and Job Sheet
- Reassemble vehicle
- Handle all vehicles with due care and attention
- Clean workbay and workshop areas
- Coach apprentices when required
- Handle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention ensuring they remain safe, clean and in a workable condition
- Adhere to our OH&S; policy including PPE
About You
- Trade qualified Panel Beater
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong commitment to work in a protected manner
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Be reliable, punctual & hardworking
- Own tools to fulfil the role

- Mid‑Senior tradesperson $80k‑$100k

Requirements
- AQF Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent or relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years experience
