At our newly launched regional hospitality property, we are seeking a live-in motel management couple to oversee daily operations.
Job Description
This role requires managing daily operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, housekeeping, and financial reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in motel or hotel management, as well as hands-on skills and general maintenance knowledge.
* Managing daily operations at our regional hospitality property
* Overseeing housekeeping and financial reconciliations
* Ensuring high customer service and satisfaction
* Managing budgets and financial reporting
* Developing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue
* Maintaining rooms, grounds, and pool to high standards
* General banking and administration duties
* Managing stock levels and monitoring supplies
* Assisting with late check-ins/emergencies and general maintenance
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
* Well-presented, professional, warm, and friendly customer service skills
* Experience with a motel booking system
* Previous experience in motel or hotel management
* Hands-on skills
* General maintenance and gardening skills
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Strong financial and budgeting skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic computer skills, including property management systems
