Helicopter Maintenance Planner
Strategic planning and coordination of helicopter maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks while optimizing resource allocation. Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinate with Fleet Specialists and Component Shop to ensure all required parts and inspections for upcoming jobs are organized.
* Create Standard Parts Lists to develop and maintain routine task and maintenance procedure lists.
* Order necessary parts from stores in relation to fleet planning, ensuring timely availability and maintaining consistent communication with the Stores section to address potential supply delays.
* Provide Fleet Reports and Maintenance Schedules to the Maintenance Controller, including updates on upcoming maintenance activities, potential supply delays, and current in-work maintenance activities.
* Track Aircraft Components to ensure availability and compliance.
* Prioritize and schedule work orders to minimize disruptions to production while maximizing equipment uptime.
* Manage resources effectively by coordinating available personnel, tools, and spare parts with the Fleet Specialists to ensure efficient maintenance task completion.
* Analyze maintenance trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance strategies.
About You:
* Airport Aviation Knowledge is essential for this role, along with a solid understanding of helicopter maintenance practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Experience with scheduled maintenance programs, inspections, and airworthiness directives is also preferred.
* Tech-savvy candidates familiar with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul software will have an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Project, is necessary for effective communication and data analysis.
* Familiarity with aviation maintenance regulations and documentation standards is crucial for managing compliance with airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and technical publications.
