About the role
Greater City Concreters' is seeking a motivated and experienced Concreter to join our team on a casual basis in Geelong, VIC 3220. As a Concreter, you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of various concrete structures, contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete to meet project specifications
* Operating concrete mixing equipment and tools effectively and safely
* Assisting with the placement and installation of reinforcement materials
* Conducting basic site preparation and clean-up duties
* Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure efficient workflow
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* White Card (Construction Induction) can be obtained after hire
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Concreter or in a similar construction role
* Minimum of 3+ years of concreting experience is required
* Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret construction plans
* Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
* Familiarity with the use and maintenance of concrete equipment and tools
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites as required
* A current car licence is required for this position
* Australian work rights required for this position
