About the Backend Team
Our backend team builds and maintains the massively scalable infrastructure that powers all of LEAP's products.
Designed to handle huge amounts of data from thousands of concurrent users each day, this platform is the backbone of our desktop application, web apps, and mobile experiences.
What You'll Do
This role centres on our Productivity Reporting application – an important part of the LEAP software suite – where you'll work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
You'll be responsible for integrating, transforming, and optimising this data to produce clear, meaningful insights for our users.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications from concept to deployment
Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks
Develop robust server-side logic and RESTful APIs
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in full-stack development
Strong experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and C#
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and React
Experience with both SQL (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, Redis) databases
Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
Even better if you have
AWS experience – familiarity with S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, OpenSearch
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Understanding of secure coding best practices
