Randstad is proud to partner with a leading rail systems contractor who is responsible for delivering the rail systems packages on a major Sydney Metro project.
The project is nearing the installation phase for the rail systems packages and as a result this organisation is looking for two Site Engineer positions to be based in South West Sydney on sites along the alignment for the new Western Sydney Airport metro project. The site locations are Orchard Hills, Luddenham, Bradfield and St Mary's.
Key requirements of the role are to:
* Manage the construction interface and handover from civil to rail systems.
* Oversee the delivery of the rail systems subcontractor.
* Manage ITP's
* Lead documentation in readiness for work packs and support the Construction Interface Manager with the four week lookahead.
* Provide technical insight to ensure installation and commissioning is realised within schedule and to budget.
Suitable candidates should have:
* A degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
* 2 years minimum experience in delivering rail infrastructure packages for a contracting organisation
* Experience with ITP's and defect management.
An immediate start is available for the right candidates for these 12 month minimum contracts.
