If so, we have multiple opportunities for Pipe Fitters with specific experience in pipe testing and flushing (pipe cleaning processes) within the Production Team based in Osborne, SA.

About The OPPORTUNITY
Key responsibilities include:
Undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production Supervision and or Trades Trainer within bounds of current competence.
Attend and complete relevant on‐the‐job training as required
Install various arrays of fittings and equipment to be utilised in the testing and flush process
Verify pipe installation completeness and quality
Work with process instructions and risk assessments to complete hydrostatic and/or pneumatic pipe testing
Work with process instructions and risk assessments to complete system flushing and other cleanliness procedure to ensure successful system commissioning
Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
Adhere to the BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
About You
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will have:
Certificate 3 Trade Qualification.
Experience with pressure testing and/or flushing/cleaning of piping systems
Knowledge of various types of pipe/hydraulic/air fittings/connections is advantageous
Basic schematic drawing knowledge
Experience/knowledge of Pipe installation processes
Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
Strong time keeping abilities.
Excellent communication, influencing and skills.
Clearances
As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
