The Role
This position will oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, as well as support financial decision-making for new ventures. In brief, the candidate will be responsible for:
* Leading the development and consolidation of 3-way budgets and forecasts for multiple entities
* Supporting the preparation of monthly profit forecasts and performance reporting
* Creating Power BI dashboards and improving FP&A governance
* Preparing board packs and associated reporting
* Partnering with operational executives to provide financial advice supporting decision-making
* Assisting the CFO and executives with due diligence around M&A activity and commercial projects
* Assisting with post-implementation ERP change management
* Documenting current processes and identifying opportunities to remove redundant processes and improve management reporting and month-end timelines
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with flexibility in working practices. The office allows for remote work up to 2 days per week.
Your Profile
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* CA or CPA Qualification
* Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure is highly regarded
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is highly valued
* Power BI experience is advantageous
* Excellent technical accounting and excel skills
* Ability to handle a challenging change and growth environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder management
* Natural accounting intuition - ability to identify discrepancies in numbers
