- Managing procurement projects within the ICT Professional Services category
- Developing and implementing category strategies
- Explore opportunities with suppliers to introduce Gen AI
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure best value
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth implementation of projects
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Delivering best value of cost and delivery for the business
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager should have:
- A proactive approach to supplier engagement and understanding your market
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes and strategies
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively
- Be inquisitive for the use of Gen AI in your services that your procure
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
