As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing all cost and commercial aspects of construction projects. This includes working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency, contract compliance, and accurate reporting. You will also be required to conduct site visits to support project delivery and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts.
* Administer contracts, variations, claims, and final accounts.
* Process progress claims and subcontractor payment schedules.
* Monitor project costs and prepare monthly cost reports.
* Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Conduct site visits to validate progress and support project teams.
* Maintain accurate project records and support project close-out.
About the Role
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
* 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor (industrial construction preferred).
* Strong knowledge of cost planning, contract administration, and claims management.
* Proficiency in estimating and cost management software (e.g., Candy, CostX).
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Valid driver's license (for site travel).
