Job Description
You will be joining our supportive Operations team to deliver an exceptional guest experience for our residents and guests at our Village based in Karratha. Permanent full‐time positions are available on a 14:7 roster with an 8.25‐hour day (two weeks living on site and one week at home for what matters most!).
About the Opportunity
You will manage guest check‐in/check‐outs and accommodation bookings, general administration duties, the retail space, and most importantly, be the first point of contact to provide an excellent customer service experience for all our residents and guests.
Benefits
* Salaries ranging from $65,000 – $75,000 + 12% Superannuation + penalties and allowances
* $7,000 annual incentive bonus for local candidates who drive in, drive out (paid quarterly – no flights included)

* FIFO included for all Perth‐based candidates (not eligible for incentive bonus)

About You
* Administration experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
* Experience with accommodation booking systems is highly desirable
* Experience working in high‐volume, fast‐paced environments
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Excited to work on a 14:7 roster (2 weeks on, one week off)
* Valid driver's licence
* Unlimited working rights in Australia (ideally for 12 months or more; sponsorship not available at this time)
* Flexibility to work across day/night shifts when required

Responsibilities
People
* Undergo annual objective setting, participate in appraisal processes, and provide performance feedback to management.
* Complete required training and attend periodic team and individual meetings.
* Collaborate seamlessly with Guest Services colleagues and maintain communication flow with other Village departments.
* Apply safe work practices to contribute to Civeo's safety culture.
Customers
* Prepare information and documentation for efficient day‐to‐day and week‐by‐week arrivals and departures, ensuring the shortest‐time check‐ins and check‐outs.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with local representatives of key clients so service levels meet or exceed expectations.
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge of Civeo, the Village, and surrounding areas, and respond to guest queries knowledgeably.
* Answer or resolve client guest queries promptly and professionally.
* Facilitate and maintain a safe environment for our customers.
Process
* Accurately process bookings, allocate accommodation, and perform check‐ins/check‐outs using the accommodation software package.
* Distribute room keys.
* Complete daily activity checklists, run reports using the accommodation software and Microsoft applications, and perform general administration duties.
* Accept and forward maintenance requests from both clients and housekeeping.
* Ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards are strictly met, reporting issues, potential issues or near‐misses.
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures and contribute ideas for improving processes.
* Adhere to all security procedures, safeguarding company‐issued items, and ensure confidential items are protected.
* Unload and store stock and supplies.
* Use simple IT and cash collection systems as required.
Finance
* Assist in preparing bills and processing payments in line with client contractual requirements.
* Process payments for walk‐in guests, casual lets and other cash or credit‐card transactions.
* Use the till and EFTPOS to ensure floats are accurate at shift end and resolve any discrepancies.
Other
* Any other required duties appropriate to the scope, nature and seniority of the role.
Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
* Proficient written and spoken English.
Experience
* Preferably six months' experience in a front‐office role in commercial/hotel accommodation.
* At least two years of general office administration experience.
* Experience with accommodation software packages.
Skills
* Knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance, including responsibilities regarding people, property, and equipment.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
* Skilled in using point‐of‐sale (POS) systems.
