Fire Equipment Service and Maintenance Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Portable Fire Technician to provide fire protection services, inspections, and maintenance of portable fire equipment including extinguishers, hose reels, and blankets for clients across the Capricornia region. This role requires travel to remote locations as needed.
Main Responsibilities
* Service & Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, inspection, and maintenance of fire extinguishers, unpumped hose reels, and fire blankets in accordance with industry standards.
* Inspection & Documentation: Conduct compliance inspections, testing, and record keeping using company systems.
* Repairs & Replacement: Undertake minor repairs and replacements to ensure equipment remains compliant and functional.
* Customer Service: Provide professional advice to clients regarding their portable fire equipment needs.
* Compliance & Safety: Adhere to WHS practices, company procedures, and legal requirements.
* Regional Travel: Willingness to travel throughout the Capricornia region, including remote and out-west locations.
* Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate service parts and consumables within the company vehicle.
